This weekend, our church is heading away for our annual Church Camp. We’ll be up in Idyllwild together worshiping, resting, praying, and playing.
There will be no service in Orange. However, we encourage you to visit another gospel-preaching church if you’re in town. Our sister church in Santa Ana is just a few miles away.
We will resume our normal Sunday services on October 22nd at 10:00am.
Two times each year we host a members’ meeting. It’s one important way the pastoral team equips each of us to be engaged and informed church members. Put it on your calendar now and set a reminder.
The agenda includes updates on our finances, church member roll, ministry plans for the winter and spring, and more. Bring your questions, input, and lunch. Let’s keep building and growing together.
The House of Hope is a great place to give your time, energy, and affections to our neighbors. We’ll be there tonight (10/11) to serve a meal, build relationships with the residents, and play games with the kids. The more church members who join, the merrier. We understand not everyone can make it, but would you pause tonight and pray? Ask God to save the women and children who live there. Ask God to provide jobs and housing for them. Ask God to provide more opportunities for our members to encourage the residents. Thank you for praying!

On Sunday, we announced that Keith and Stephanie Cochrane have joined Kirsi Turbedsky on the leadership team of our children’s ministry, The Grove.
As anyone who’s utilized or served in this ministry knows, it’s a lot of wonderful work to keep The Grove running smoothly. And we’re grateful to God for volunteer leaders who ensure that we faithfully share the gospel with the next generation in our church.
Please take a moment this week to pray that God would give great wisdom to Kirsi, Keith, and Stephanie as they lead.
This summer we started the Old Town Joggers club. It’s a weekly opportunity to meet our neighbors while being encouraged to stay fit.
The club meets every Wednesday at 6:00am at Philz Coffee for an easy run. Runners of all experience levels are welcome.
We love that the city of Orange hosts tons of opportunities to make good memories with our neighbors. Treats in the Streets is one of those.
Make plans with church members, family, friends, and neighbors for a nice evening downtown. Wear your best costume and get plenty of candy.
