One of the best parts about our Small Groups is our time of singing together. Not only does it bring God glory, but it's such an encouraging way to begin a meeting. Because let's not kid ourselves...it's not easy getting to small group!
You race home from work, feed the children, fight the traffic, sometimes fight with one another, arrive at a friend's home, walk in, and this is the first thing we do. We sing.

The singles' ministry will be gathering Thursday evening, 5/23 at 7:30pm to catch a flick. This week it's the gruff-voiced hero of Gotham, Batman, taking on the League of Shadows. Batman Begins will serve as a parable for themes like vengeance, mercy, and redemption - all of which will emerge in our conversations afterwards. Don't miss it!

We will begin a series of talks on disagreeing. Disagreements confront us week in and week out - with other Christians, co-workers, and family members. In our growth to "do all things to the glory of God" we want to encourage one another to season all of our words with grace, especially when we're in a theological or intellectual argument. The question we will focus on is this: How do we disagree with others in a way that magnifies God's grace?
To help you start thinking through this particular issue, check out the video below. Skip ahead to the 2 minute mark and listen to some of the issues and suggestions these pastors are working through on disagreeing.

These moments of fellowship and time in God's Word are such an integral part of our pursuit of God. Be there so that you can both serve your friends and be encouraged by them.
