The auditions will be happening Sunday 8/14/2016.
We are looking for instrumentalists and vocalists of all skill levels to serve the church. You don't have to be a rockstar, you just need to have a musical talent that you want to use to serve God.
A group of trusted church members assemble regularly to provide the pastors with the counsel and oversight they need to steward our finances and legal responsibilities. These individuals help establish policy, administrate accounting and reporting functions, and offer an alternative voice of counsel to our church leadership.
Last month we added two new members to the committee: Caleb Brown and Zach Davis. You can find more info on all the committee members here. These individuals are always available to answer questions.
Please join us in praying God with grant them wisdom and courage as we make it our ambition to reach our city with the gospel.
Being a musician in our church is a delight. There's nothing more rewarding then leading people in song who love to sing. And Sovereign Grace Church loves to sing!
Our aim on the worship team is to make musicians who exhibit "undistracting excellence" as they offer their talents to bring God glory and build His church. Musicians who get more joy from hearing God's people sing than from performing.

Don't this month's Youth Meeting. All Junior and Senior High students. This Thursday, July 14, 6:30pm.
It will be a casual evening of fun and fellowship. There will be a Nacho bar with all the fixins, and S'mores around the fire pit for dessert. Mmmm.

David is one of the many who took our challenge to read 12 books in 12 months. Last month we read a history book. David's choice was California: A History by Kevin Starr. Here was the sentence that stood out to him...
