We are building the best Children's Ministry in Old Towne Orange and we need your help! Faithful men and women have labored to serve our kids and families every Sunday since the church began. Click the link below and join the team!
Beginning Sunday, April 23rd, our Sunday School will focus on ten words to enrich your experience of salvation in Christ. Why do so? Because the way we talk about theology will influence our theology. We aim to use Bible words for Bible things. But we must know the meaning of these Bible words to best articulate and appreciate what God has done in Christ, for his glory and for our good.
Predestination
Atonement
Regeneration
Repentance
Faith
Justification
Adoption
Sanctification
Perseverance
Glorification
THURSDAY, APRIL 13TH, 7PM
All junior and senior high are invited to join us this week, 7-9pm at the Turbedsky residence for fellowship, fun, and a spirited debate over theology. "What exactly is a resurrection?"
We do this every month. Parents and guests are always welcome. Contact Lisa B. for the address or questions.
The church equips Christians to do stuff.
Training new leaders is a priority for us. We make disciples. That's what we do. It's our mission as a congregation. We are a home for men and women who have an ambition to serve Jesus.
This is why we have all kinds of leader development opportunities. It's also why Nate Adam led worship last week. Nate wants to serve. We want Nate to serve. Nate is a worship leader :)
We Are Ready
Our retreat planners met one last time this past Sunday. Everything is set. This is going to be a great retreat!
Pray for the women.
Pray for Judy Farley our speaker.
Pray for the children left home with their fathers :)
Our Pastoral Resident, Dustin Smetona, is scheduled for his oral examination this Saturday at our sister church in Gilbert, Arizona.
This will be Dustin's final exam in the ordination process. Please pray for Dustin and the three pastors serving on the West Regional ordination committee.
The latest in storage technology.
We love the Woman's Club of Orange. It's a great location, a great space, and the club and management have been very good to us. However, it still takes a team of volunteers to get our facility ready every Sunday all year long.
The Sunday Team is responsible for everything from cleaning to packing gear to greeting you at the door. They work hard. They sweat. They adapt when we expand our Children's Ministry. And they do it all because they love Jesus and us.
Thank you Sunday Teams.
